The company says it wanted to give admins more control over their group’s privacy, so it’s built a simple tool that lets admins quickly decide who can join a group. When an admin chooses to share their group’s invite link or make their group a member of a community, they can now access all requests in one place to manage who they allow in. With this new feature, admins can click an “X” or check mark to either deny or approve a user.

WhatsApp says it also wants to make it easier for users to find out which groups you share with someone. The app now lets you search for a contact's name to see your shared groups. You can use the new feature if you're trying to remember the name of a group you know you share with someone, or if you want to see the groups you're both in.

After launching Communities – a new feature that allows for more organized conversations with up to 1,024 members and provides admin controls, sub-groups, group announcements, 32-person voice/video calls, greater file sharing capabilities, emoji reactions , and polls – WhatsApp is now introducing even more features that will revolutionize the messaging experience! These include end-to-end encryption for maximum security, as well as a series of improved tools, such as group chats with enhanced support for users.
