The feature initially allowed users to create polls in groups, but the latest update extends this functionality to personal conversations. If you'd like to learn how the new feature works on WhatsApp for Android and iOS users, check out the guide below.
With WhatsApp polls, users can vote quickly and easily, simply by tapping on their choice. Whether sent in a personal conversation or in a group environment, expressing your opinion has never been easier! Polls in private conversations or group conversations share the same simple interface, allowing users to add up to 12 options. In addition, the app will refresh the poll after each vote, and all conversations, both group and private, are protected with end-to-end encryption
