To adjust your default browser settings, simply look for the “Internet Explorer Compatibility” section. To allow websites to reload in Internet Explorer mode, select “Allow” from the drop-down menu. Then simply click the “Restart” button to restart your browser.

Edge will reload the website in Internet Explorer mode, and you'll be able to quickly recognize this change by the appearance of an IE icon on the left side of the address bar.

At the top of your screen, just below the address bar, you’ll see a thin strip that stretches across the width of your entire webpage. For a quick refresh of your page in Edge, simply click the “Open in Microsoft Edge” button. To make it even simpler, you can add an icon to your toolbar that will allow you to instantly exit IE mode with a single click.
You can now start browsing. To return to normal browsing mode, click the 'X' icon on the IE Mode tab or simply click the “Leave IE Mode” symbol on your toolbar if you enabled it earlier.
To always access a specific website in IE mode, click the Explorer logo in the address bar and turn on the switch next to “Open this page in Internet Explorer mode every time.” Or, go to Settings > Default Browser and select “Add.” When “Add Page” appears, type the URL of the desired website and click “Add.” Now you can use Internet Explorer mode without errors!
