WWDC kicks off today, and Apple has updated its official page called “Apple leadership.” What’s the update? It’s added Memojis to the profiles of all executives listed on the page. Similar avatars are now appearing on executives’ social media accounts. The company is getting ready to preview new versions of its operating system software, including iOS 15, which is expected to feature major updates to the Messages app.

Apple has changed the Memoji profiles on the “Apple leadership” page once before, specifically in 2018 and due to World Emoji Day. On this occasion, only the heads were replaced with Memoji, leaving the real shoulders in place.
This time, the photos have been replaced with dismembered heads on a dark background, reflecting the broader use of the more advanced Memoji technology in Apple's WWDC 2021 promotional materials.

Apple will hold its virtual WWDC event on Monday, June 7 (that is, today) and will last until June 11. The event will give us the first information about the new operating system updates.
