Dildo drone interrupted mayoral candidate's speech: A mayoral candidate in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, was speaking on stage during his campaign rally when suddenly a drone carrying a sex toy appeared from behind bushes and began heading "threateningly" towards him.
This is Manuel Gonzales, who has previously been the sheriff of Bernalillo County, also in New Mexico.

A video that circulated on social media shows the incident where two men immediately intervened and stopped the "dangerous" drone.
The owner of the venue where the event took place managed to stop the gadget. Another 20-year-old, Kaelan Ashby Dreyer, who also tried to stop the drone but failed, eventually turned his attention to Gonzales, threatening him with his fist and calling him a tyrant.

The mayoral candidate said he had noticed a man standing behind the fence early on, possibly the person who directed the drone at the scene. It is likely Dreyer, who was not alone at the rally, but was accompanied by other rowdy friends.
Dreyer was removed from the campaign event after he attacked Gonzales. The officers who arrested the man said he has now been charged with assault and resisting arrest. He later claimed that what angered him was Gonzales' response to a question the 20-year-old had asked him.

Gonzales said in a statement after the incident: “I was so distracted by the sound of the drone that I lost my composure.” In addition, Gonzales implied that his Democratic opponent, Tim Keller, was behind it all.
On the other hand, Keller's associates condemned what happened, calling the act "rude and immature." Specifically, a Keller spokesperson stated the following: "To imply that we were behind this is deplorable and indicative of the desperation that characterizes the Gonzales campaign."
Dreyer, for his part, claimed that he was not working on Keller's behalf, emphasizing that he is not even a voter of his.
