Alpha Bank activated the voice guidance feature for people with limited vision at 102 24-hour access ATMs in its Network across the country, within the framework of Corporate Responsibility principles and the Digital Transformation program .

Particularly easy to use, the new voice guidance
transaction functionality enables Alpha Bank Customers to withdraw
cash or check their balance by simply plugging their headphones into the
corresponding slot of the ATMs. It is the first time in the Greek market that
voice guidance is provided at such a large number of ATMs across the
country.
Before initiating any transaction through Alpha Bank's new functionality, the
Customer hears a recorded message with detailed instructions for use, while each
choice is confirmed by an audio message. The new service provides the ability
to select a language (bilingual menu), voice notification of the available
balance upon completion of the transaction, and hiding
Customer transaction screens, thus enhancing security and protecting the
user's personal data.
"Voice guidance for transactions is expected to significantly facilitate the
daily lives of our Customers with limited vision, as it is specially designed
to respond in the best possible way to their needs. The voice
guidance option will soon be available at additional ATMs in our Network,
offering the possibility of even more transactions, such as the
acceptance of cards of other Greek banks, through the DIAS system," says
Alpha Bank's Digital Networks Manager, Sotiris Kyriakos.
More information on the voice guidance option and the ATMs
where it is provided is available on the Bank's website.
