It's easy for set-top boxes to become loaded with dozens of streaming media apps. If you're no longer using an app or game, it's a good idea to uninstall it to free up some storage space and potentially improve the device's performance. Here's how to uninstall apps on Android TV.

First, use the D-pad on your Android TV remote to select the “Apps” icon on the left side of the top bar of the home screen.
Then, select the app or game you want to uninstall from the list.

Hold down the “Select” or “Enter” button on your remote control and select “Uninstall” from the pop-up menu.

Selecting the button will open a new screen. It will ask if you want to uninstall the application. Select “OK”.

You're done! You've now uninstalled an app or game from your Android TV.
Please note that you will not be able to uninstall apps that were pre-installed on your Android TV box or TV. For example, Netflix cannot be uninstalled on Nvidia Shield TV. This option is not available.
