Google usually includes so-called “ Easter Eggs ” in every new Android version it releases. And Android 11 is no exception, as it features a fun game .
Android 11's hidden game is a reboot of the game included in Android 7.0 Nougat. Its purpose is to attract virtual cats to your phone and collect them.
The first thing you need to do to play the game, of course, is find the Easter Egg to activate it. On device (smartphone or tablet) swipe down from the top of the screen (once or twice, depending on the device) and then select the gear icon to open the “Settings” menu.
Then, scroll down and tap “About phone.”
From there, select “Android Version“.
Finally, tap repeatedly on “Android Version” until you see something that looks like an old phone dial. This is the Android 11 Easter Egg.
To start the game, you need to move the dial from 1 to 10 three times. On the third try, it will pass 10 and reveal the “11” logo.
After the “11” logo appears, you will see a emoji at the bottom of your screen. This means the game has been activated.
The goal of the game is to collect as many cats as you can. You do this by filling virtual bowls with water and food and playing with cat toys. To get started, press and hold the “Power” button on your phone or tablet. Tap the three-dot icon.
Then, select “Add Controls” from the menu.
Tap “Show other apps” at the bottom of the screen.
Select “Cat Controls”.
Select all three controls that appear to add them to the menu. Then, tap “Save.”
Return to the Menu, if the “Cat Controls” game does not appear, press the arrow and select it.
Now you can tap the buttons to fill the water, add food to the bowl, or play with the toys. Once you've done all of that, just wait for a cat to appear in your notifications. Tap on the notification when it appears and you'll be taken to your collection of cats. Select any of the cats to rename it.
