What changes are there in Zorin OS 15.3?
Version 15.3 is based on Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS, which will be updated until April 2023. In other words, Zorin OS's applications and security will be updated frequently, thanks to Ubuntu's LTS support
Additionally, for better compatibility, Zorin OS uses the new Linux Kernel 5.4. In addition, the new Kernel version supports the 11thgeneration of Intel Core processors, as well as some of the new AMD processors that will be released soon.
As we mentioned earlier, in addition to hardware support improvements, Zorin OS 15.3 also brings many updates to the operating system's applications, which now work even faster and more efficiently. For example, the new version brings Libre Office 6.4.6, which contains improved compatibility with Microsoft Office.
In addition to improvements to the operating system, the new version also contains some improvements to the Zorin Connect app. For example, automatic device discovery is now only available for trusted networks.
Download and install Zorin OS 15.3:
If you are using a version from the latest Zorin OS series, you can easily update the operating system using the Software Updater application. Otherwise, you can open a terminal and type the following commands:
sudo apt update
sudo apt full-upgrade
sudo reboot
However, if you are a new user of the operating system, you can download the installation file and then install the operating system using a bootable USB.
