The Confederation College has been hit by a malware attack.
The College says: “We would like to inform you that Confederation College is in the process of ‘responding’ to a malware incident. We initially became aware of the issue on Saturday morning and immediately began the response process. Most IT services remained operational throughout the day but have now become completely unavailable.

"We currently have no evidence that any personal information has been compromised from our systems, although this will be the focus of a forensic investigation conducted by a cybersecurity expert we are currently working with."
“If we learn that personal information has been stolen, we will notify all individuals who have been compromised. However, if you have saved personal passwords on the College system, emailed personal passwords using a email , or are reusing a password for your personal online services, we recommend that you perform a password reset. We will ask you to do the same with your College password when our services are restored.
“We expect to restore service next week, but expert will be thorough and may not be complete for some time. We apologize for this and thank you for your patience. We will communicate more details as they become available.”
