Facebook Find and delete location history

If you use the Facebook mobile app, you probably have a lot more data stored in your location history than you think. While all of this data is private and only you (and Facebook, of course) can see it, you might want to delete it.Facebook
It's worth mentioning that you might be concerned if you see how much location data the social network has stored.
Why? Facebook explains that if you have Location History enabled on your app, it will periodically record your exact location and keep a history, even when you're not using the app. Below we'll see how you can delete all of your location history, as well as how you can disable the feature completely.
To view your location history on a browser:
Open Settings – Location and click View Location History.
You'll be asked to provide your password.
To view your location history on your phone:
Follow the path: Settings – Account Settings – Location. Tap View Location History.
Again, you'll be asked to provide your password.
Now you can see how much data Facebook has stored due to your use of the mobile app.
This information includes specific locations you've visited, as well as data collected while you're on the move. The app stores points along your routes.
How to delete Facebook location history
It's simple, click the menu button in the top right corner and again click Delete all location history.
You can also delete location history for specific days. To do this, click the menu button next to the date you want to delete and click Delete this day.
How to completely disable location history on Facebook
Facebook Find and delete location history
Follow the path: Settings – Account Settings – Location.
In your Facebook Settings, turn off Location History.
Disabling history means you won't be able to use some Facebook features, such as Find Wi-Fi and Nearby Friends. Facebook also says that location history allows you to see relevant ads and helps improve Facebook.
Facebook isn't the only social platform that collects the history of the locations you visit. Google does the same with Google Maps.
