Samsung: First impressions of the 75-inch Micro LED displays

Samsung has already opened the doors to the now traditional CES-TV event in Las Vegas and we can officially say that the company is preparing to take off with micro LED technology! More specifically, the latest micro LED innovations from Samsung have dominated the event and will soon bring the new 4K QLED TVs.

The highlights of the showcase for screen fans were related to the 75-inch micro LED display, which followed the even more impressive model . The event found that the 75-inch display is now something that anyone can use and was characterized as home-friendly. In fact, this means that a 75-inch micro LED display is ready to hit the market in the coming months. It should be emphasized here that the 4K 75-inch micro LED display will consist of a series of smaller LED modules that are collected all together.

How much does it cost?

Unfortunately, Samsung's new innovation is not affordable. On the contrary, it is aimed at people who are extremely wealthy. Given that the 146-inch micro LED wall costs between $300,000 and $500,000, the price for a 219-inch screen is incredibly high. The 75-inch and 84-inch screens are also expensive. Although it is aimed at a specific audience, Samsung claims that it is still improving the characteristics of micro LED screens and its goal is none other than to emerge as the first company in the space to bring them for sale.

Why is micro LED?

The company claims that the features offered by this type of technology are completely unique! Specifically, micro LED has the ability to produce a wide range of colors and high levels of brightness. In addition, micro LED can support viewing angles of 180 degrees! What also makes them so interesting is the fact that they do not wear out over time and are characterized as “always-on implementations”.

In fact, at the CES event, Samsung demonstrated the new sizes of micro LED screens from the usual 21:9, 32:9 and 1:1 to the unusual ones, such as 9×3, 1×7 and 5×1. The only thing that is certain is that since micro LED screens are bezel free, they certainly surpass traditional TV/home cinemas in innovation.
