Microsoft has released the beta version of its new Clarity analytics tool to help webmasters understand how users interact with their websites.
Clarity analytics allows you to run A/B tests and reproduce visualizations of user experiences and behaviors on your website. The tool not only helps you understand what your visitors are seeing, but also helps you identify errors and usability issues.
The company said that with the help of Clarity, it discovered that those who were having problems with Bing were actually using browsers that were infected with malware.
The tool is in beta, so more features are likely to be added before the official release. The development team plans to use AI to better understand user behavior , abnormal site activity, and JavaScript errors. It will also offer heatmaps to see how users click and navigate your pages.
According to Microsoft, the tool will work on any HTML website. Support for other TLDs will be coming soon.
