Apple has reached one trillion dollars in market share, making it the first company to achieve such success, worldwide.
According to a report by Interbrand, Apple is still the number one brand in the world, with a 16% increase in the last 12 months.
Google (and parent company Alphabet) comes in second with a 10% increase over the previous year, as the company has added $155,506 million to its total value.
Amazon a, on the other hand, which is often considered one of the companies that can reach 1 trillion market share, seems to be quite a threat to Apple. Its performance was impressive, as the research shows 56% increase ($100,764 million), enough to secure it the third place in the global charts.

In fourth place is Microsoft, up 16% to $92.715 billion, according to Interbrand. Coca-Cola fell 5% but remains in fifth place, while Samsung climbed to sixth place with a 6% increase.
Facebook fell to 9th place with a 6% decline, followed by McDonalds and Intel with +5% and +10% respectively.
Interbrand said Apple has managed to remain the leader largely because it “meets today’s ever-changing customer expectations,” adding that the company is seen as a luxury product maker, a model many are trying to emulate, including Samsung.
