The iPhone X, according to Apple, is a powerful device with unique features. However, many are complaining about the ugly black frame left by Face ID. It is known that the bezel-less design of the device does not help in hiding the front camera and speakers.
Thus the screens of the new iPhone X have a very ugly notch in the area where the camera and the speaker are.
Below we'll see how you can hide the iPhone X's notch from your screen. We'll be using the Notcho for iOS, which claims to completely hide the ugly bezel, with any wallpaper you want to use.
Yes the Notcho app will hide the notch of the iPhone X by modifying the wallpaper you use. How? “Cuts” the wallpaper and adds a black bar at the top. The ugly frame is hidden inside this black bar.
You can add any photo you want and the Notcho app will add the black bar over it.
The information that usually appears at the top of an iPhone X, i.e., the signal status, battery percentage, alarms, WiFi connectivity, etc., will continue to appear where it was.
However, we should note here that the change made by the Notoch app applies only to your lock screen and home screen. When you open any app, the notch will return.
Another alternative suggestion that doesn't even require implementation, is adding a black wallpaper to your lock screen and home screen. Besides hiding the unsightly camera frame, it will also add battery life, since black pixels use less power.
If you look for a black that matches the black frame, the unsightly detail in the screen design will disappear completely.
And this until the next iPhone, which we hope the design department of Apple will fix the badly shaped frame.
