Apple Store “falls” after iPhone X launch

The Apple Online Store must have already backed up within just a few hours as the high demand for the new anniversary model was expected.

The iPhone X is without a doubt the biggest iPhone release yet, especially given the revision that Apple has implemented on the 10th anniversary model.

Features

The iPhone X comes with a horizontal bezel-less OLED display, a significant upgrade from the LCD display on previous iPhone models. This is one of the reasons why Apple delayed the release of the iPhone X as the company faced several production issues that forced it to halt the release.

Also, a much-discussed issue, Touch ID was replaced by Face ID as Apple failed to integrate the fingerprint sensor into the display, resulting in its focus on facial recognition. Thus, the device features a notch at the top of the display, which is home to the 3D sensors, along with other sensors and the FaceTime camera.

Finally, the iPhone X introduces a number of other changes, including a vertically-positioned dual-camera system, a glass body for wireless charging just like the iPhone 8, and gesture support that allows users to get the most out of iOS without a home button.

Prices on the Apple Store start at $999 for the version with 64GB of storage and go up to $1,149 for the one with 256GB of storage.
