If you don't walk your dog regularly, this collar will wake you up. The Waggit and its companion app are essentially a Fitbit for dogs.

The basic philosophy behind the collar is that your dog can't tell you when they're not feeling well, but technology can detect the invisible signs of illness or injury. Waggit claims to use location, activity, and health tracking to give you a holistic, day-to-day picture of your best friend's well-being.
Waggit monitors your dog's vital signs like temperature, heart rate, and breathing rate, and can learn energy the longer they wear the Waggit collar. You can set up alerts to let you know when your dog's vital signs aren't normal. You'll also be able to show your vet exactly what's going on with your pet.
Waggit monitors both body temperature and ambient temperature, so if there is a sudden increase or decrease in temperature, you will know to put him in the house.
In addition to vital signs, Waggit tracks your dog's sleep, activity, and even location, so you'll know if there's any change that might indicate a problem.
You can also record the type of food your dog eats and how much he eats. This way you will know how much exercise he needs based on the amount he has eaten.
Getting your dog lost can be a traumatic and frightening experience. Waggit can track your dog (or at least the collar) on a map, so if they get lost you can find exactly where they went. You can even set a virtual fence in the app to alert you any time they stray from it.
There's also a speaker on the collar that can give training commands from the app. As your dog learns better and better, he'll earn achievements and badges, so you'll both get positive reinforcement.
The collar has launched a Kickstarter with donations starting at $189 or more to get the Waggit at a 33% discount off its original price.
