Apple iOS 11.0.3 for iPhone and iPad in an attempt to fix some issues, but as it turns out, this update caused more harm than good.
As with every iOS 11 update, battery life seems to have been significantly affected, with some users complaining of a significant reduction in battery life even in standby mode. In addition to the battery life issue, other issues have also emerged such as lag and app crashes.
For example, one user says that the iPhone SE battery drops to less than 50% after just a few hours of using the phone. On the iPhone 7, on the other hand, according to reports, the battery level drops to almost 15% at the end of the trip, from 50% before the update, with no difference in usage behavior.
"Overnight, the iPhone 7 crashed to 15% with only active functions, that of waking up and a few apps refreshing in the background. I had to charge it twice during the day. Also, iMessage and podcasts work without using Wi-Fi but safari, Reddit and Apple Music do not," a user says.
And it gets worse. Some people claim that the iPhone 7 turns off by itself, even at 80% battery, and it all happens after updating to iOS 11 and now iOS 11.0.3.
At this point, the iPhone SE seems to be the model experiencing the most problems, but at the same time, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, 6s and 6 Plus, 7 and 7 Plus, and even the new 8 are said to be experiencing battery malfunctions as well as other issues.
