On November 4-5, 2017, FOSSCOMM 2017, the largest annual open source software and technologies conference in Greece, will be held at Harokopio University (70 Eleftheriou Venizelou, Kallithea).

You can register either to watch it for free at https://www.fosscomm.hua.gr/ or to participate as a speaker at https://www.fosscomm.hua.gr/speakers-reg/
Fosscomm is organized by the Greek Free and Open Source Software communities in a different city each year, and is attended by communities, developers and companies involved in Open Technologies. More than 500 participants participate in Fosscomm every year. So far, a total of 9 Fosscomm conferences starting in 2008 in Athens, Larissa, Thessaloniki, Patras, Serres, Athens, Lamia, Athens, and Piraeus respectively.
This year Fosscomm will take place on November 4-5, at Harokopio University and as always will develop issues of open source, open content, open data, open technologies, open design and open licenses. It will bring together members from the academic community, the commons, open software communities, open technology communities, companies that provide open source services and those who are involved or interested in dealing with open source and open technologies.
FOSSCOMM is free to attend and all expenses are covered by sponsors and donations. The conference is organized and operated entirely by volunteers, in keeping with the non-commercial, community-focused nature of the event. The final program has not been announced, as it is still accepting speaker applications.
