LG recently announced the G6+ , an upgraded version of the original G6 model that comes with more storage, new colors, and wireless charging .
First of all, we should note that LG hasn't upgraded the RAM on the new G6+, so like the original model, the G6+ comes with 4GB. However, when it comes to storage, the company has decided to double it from 64GB to 128GB.
Another distinctive feature of the new G6+ is Qi wireless charging, which is offered exclusively on this model but only in certain countries without us knowing which ones yet.
The LG G6+ also comes with premium headphones from B&O that utilize the Hi-Fi Quad DAC 32-bit system for enhanced sound quality. The headphones are offered with the smartphone.
You will have the opportunity to obtain it in many color variations such as black, blue and gold that have the property of changing depending on the lighting.
LG has not yet announced the pricing and availability of the new G6+, but we will find out very soon with an official announcement from the company.
LG also announced a set of new improvements for the original G6 including an update to Face Print that allows the device to be unlocked with facial recognition.
Face Print: The screen unlocks as soon as the face is recognized - usually within a second - and the camera is activated when the phone is raised to the face so that there is no unnecessary battery drain.
Low Power Consumption: A feature that uses a Qualcomm chip and improves the user experience with third-party applications by reducing battery consumption.
