LG is set to launch the LG G6 Pro and G6 Plus on June 27, while the V30 will debut in September. Sources reveal that the upcoming phones are aimed at providing consumers with alternatives to the G6 that was released earlier this year.
Although the two new smartphones were recently spotted at an event, LG did not confirm their existence, but stated that it is constantly working to provide new devices and products to its consumers.
It should be noted that the release date of the G6 Pro and G6 Plus is exclusively for the South Korean market, while it has not yet been confirmed when they will be released in other countries or if LG intends to make them available worldwide.
The G6 Plus is rumored to feature 128GB of internal storage, double that of the recently released G6. It will also be compatible with Qi wireless charging, which is only available for US variants of the phone.
It is estimated to be priced at $890, $90 more than the original model. In comparison, the LG G6 Pro comes with 32GB of internal storage and does not support wireless charging. It is priced at $700.
The rest of the specs and features will remain the same as the original LG G6 model, meaning the LG G6 Pro and G6 Plus will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. They come with 5.7-inch Full Vision displays with an 18:9 or 2:1 aspect ratio.
Sources claim that the V30 will feature Qualcomm's latest platform, the Snapdragon 835, combined with 6GB of RAM.
