Everyone has either had a phone call or a message sent to them advertising a random product or providing information about something you are not interested in at all. If you still receive an unwanted call from an unreported number, you can block it by going to “Settings -> Call Blocking -> Check the suspected spam option.” To report the call as spam, simply tap “Report Spam” in the bottom right corner after selecting the number.
When the unwanted caller number enters the app's spam list, you'll get a warning and you can even see what other users have reported about that number.

The TrueCaller Android app is primarily designed to find the identity of all calls coming to you. Even though this app works as a caller ID, it also has a feature that will prevent you from receiving spam calls.
It identifies calls from telemarketers and spam, thanks to its large telemarketer list. Just make sure the feature is enabled when you first install the app, and TrueCaller will automatically block any calls it identifies as spam.
If there is a number that the app does not identify as spam, but you want to stop it, you can block it by going to "Settings -> Block -> View My Block List" and tapping the blue circle in the bottom right of the screen.
4. Call Blocker Free – BlackList
Call Blocker Free will free you from annoying unwanted calls. One feature that makes this app stand out from the rest is that it has the ability to block scam calls, or if you prefer, one-ring phone scams. In these calls, the scammer calls you and lets your phone ring only once. You return the call to see who called you, only to be charged a lot of money per minute for your call. The app has the ability to block these calls enabled by default.
You can also choose how you want to block these calls, choosing to simply hang up, hang up and send a text message, or mute without hanging up the call. There's also an option to be notified of all blocked calls and text messages.
5. Hiya – Caller ID & Block
Hiya app that can identify about a million spam numbers. As soon as you receive a call, the app compares the number to its database to let you know if it's spam or not.
It can also detect viruses and malware in your text messages. If you have any gaps in the information about some of your contacts, the app can help you fill in those gaps, thanks to its reverse phone lookup feature.
To add a specific number to your block list, go to "Settings -> Call Protection -> Numbers on my block list" and tap the red button in the bottom right corner.
