New Philips 245C7QJSB C-Line €219

The MMD brand license partner of Philips monitors presents a new 24‑inch display from the Moda design series. The 245C7QJSB is not just the thinnest ’ all Philips models, but also features an especially thin frame that allows a complete viewing experience, minimizing distraction and increasing focus. With enriched Full HD resolution and the new Ultra Wide Color technology, the monitor offers users clarity in detail with an extensive color gamut for bright images.

Explaining what makes the new screen stand out, Artem Khomenko, Product Manager for Europe of Philips screens at MMD, says that ”This is the first screen of a new series of home screens that combines the sleek Moda appearance with Ultra Wide Color technology. Most home users use their screen both for productive work and for entertainment– and the new 24 inch screen offers the best result in both. It looks beautiful in any room of the house or on the desk, while providing an excellent viewing experience thanks to color reproduction that is more realistic than ever.”

The new screen can certainly boast about its sleek appearance. Belonging to the Moda design series, the particularly thin screen has a thickness of only 5.2 mm. The minimalist design is complemented by an extremely thin frame, as the outer frame on the three sides does not exceed 2.5 mm. The almost borderless design of the new 245C7QJSB not only enhances its appearance, but also offers a very good option for users seeking entertainment by giving videos and images more space, while being ideal for setting up multiple screens.

The Ultra Wide Color technology of the new 24‑inch screen offers a wider color gamut for an even brighter image, with more natural greens, more vivid reds and deeper blues, bringing life to entertainment, images and productivity. This technology achieves this result mainly through hardware improvements rather than software tweaks and settings. The panel itself is based on IPS technology, also supporting wide viewing angles of 178 degrees.

The 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution of the Philips 245C7JQS B C-Line monitor consistently offers clarity of detail and incredible contrast to complement color accuracy and the wide range of Ultra Wide Color technology. Flicker-Free technology (which adjusts brightness for a more stable image), SmartContrast and SmartImage automatically adjust settings according to the displayed content, working together to provide an even more immersive home media experience. The monitor is equipped with HDMI, as well as a DisplayPort for fast data transfer.

The new Philips 245C7QJSB C-Line monitor, with an indicative retail price of €219, will be available in electronics stores in February 2017.
