What positions did Microsoft and Apple take in employee preferences?

Many of you out there dream of working for the two biggest tech giants, Apple and Microsoft. But we're going to disappoint you, as according to a recent survey, they are not the best places to work in the world.
But which company is the best employer you could ever have?
The analysis published on Glassdoor reveals that consulting firm Bain & Company holds the top spot according to employee preferences. Facebook , while Google and another Boston-based consulting firm, the Boston Consulting Group, share third place.
If you want to know where Apple and Microsoft rank, you'll have to scroll down quite a bit on the list, as they came in thirty-sixth and thirty-seventh respectively. The irony seems to be found in the comments from the companies' employees. Apple is said to be one of the best places to work, offering great pay, excellent healthcare benefits and a great work environment. Microsoft is praised for its competitive compensation package, strong global presence and excellent products.
Interestingly, the leading firm Bain & Company also named the best CEO of the year with a score of 99%. Apple CEO Tim Cook scored 94%, while Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella scored 95%. Facebook, on the other hand, which holds the highest score among technology companies, achieved a 98% score in terms of CEO preferences, which suggests that Mark Zuckerberg is quite popular with his employees.
