Microsoft Hellas and Found.ation are organizing the Hack.athon “smartcities” , in collaboration with This is Athens of the Municipality of Athens . The digital marathon will take place from December 16 to 18 , at the Found.ation venue ( Evrystheos 2, Athens) and aims to highlight innovative solutions that can make the city technologically smart and more friendly to the environment and people. 
In the Hack.athon “smartcities”, participants will be invited to develop and present innovative applications to address the modern challenges of city life. The thematic categories of the digital marathon are: Cleanliness, Public Space and Information. During the conception, design and development of the solutions, participants will be supported, as mentors, by distinguished professionals from the field of technology.
Microsoft Greece will support the ideas that will be distinguished in the Hackathon “ smartcities ” , providing them with the technological solutions necessary for their implementation.
