The Cronovo development team in the United Kingdom has created a new SmartWatch that offers over 15 functions and includes a display that shows the heart rate and monitors physical fitness, as well as a scoring system called VoFit.
The Cronovo SmartWatch launched on Kickstarter this week and has already earned nearly double its original goal, thanks to over 200 backers with still 50 days left in its campaign.
The team of developers behind the new Cronovo SmartWatch explains a few more details about its functionality:
“Cronovo’s heart rate technology receives electrical signals from your wrist generated by your heart. Unlike other smartwatches that use the optical system to detect heart rate, Cronovo is a combination of both optical + electrical. This gives us unparalleled accuracy compared to most other systems in a smartwatch. Cronovo can achieve 99.9% accuracy in heart rate compared to FDA-approved medical devices. As some machines are difficult for humans to read, we have designed a simpler way for you to understand your body data. VoFit is simply a scoring system up to 10. VoFit calculates your body data for you. The scoring system can be used to achieve fitness goals or even just to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It also gives advice on how to improve the score and provides detailed analysis on what is affecting your score.”
Traditional fitness trackers and smartwatches count your calories based on general equations and body movement. However, Cronovo tracks your health data in detail and even provides detailed analysis about your body, in a simple way.
The first Cronovo Smartwatches are expected to be released in November 2017.
