The Surface Phone is expected to be Microsoft 's next big thing , although the company hasn't confirmed it yet. Microsoft is giving us hope that the reveal could happen within the next year.
And thanks to a new report we have a possible release date, although it's worth noting from the outset that this hasn't been exactly confirmed so we should be quite cautious.
Polish website MSMobile.pl writes that the Surface Phone will likely be released in Fall 2017 with Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 3. We are citing rumors published on Chinese Weibo, which state that the Surface could be released in three different hardware configurations, namely 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and finally 8 GB of RAM and 500 GB of storage.
With the Surface Phone , Microsoft is said to be aiming to bring its main platforms (Android, iOS, Windows) closer together, so that this device can borrow more or less important systems from PCs, laptops and tablets, as well as offer the advantages of a typical smartphone.
As a result of the above, Microsoft will probably also make a laptop accessory that can turn the phone into a small mobile laptop, making it extremely easy to work on the go, while also maintaining the portability of a phone.
This is just a rumor for now and no one knows if this is actually the company's plan. We hope it becomes a reality because we liked these rumors!!
