New Korora 24: The Korora distribution is a desktop operating system based on Fedora. It is one of my favorite distributions as I use Fedora which is based on Red Hat.
The Korora distribution, formerly known as Kororaa, began as a binary installation method for Gentoo Linux that aimed to make it easy to install a Gentoo system using installation scripts instead of manual configuration. The name Korora comes from the Maori word “kororā” meaning little penguin.
The Korora project has announced the availability of Korora 24, which is based on the new Fedora 24. The new version of Korora is available in four flavors: Cinnamon, GNOME, MATE, and Xfce.
Changes in Korora 24: ISOs are 64-bit only. KDE Plasma desktop environment is not yet available.
Additional details can be found in the release announcement for the new version.
