Twitter won't count links and images in 140 characters

Some argue that the 140-character limit is an integral feature of Twitter as a platform for fast news and also quick status updates.

Others find this feature quite annoying.

So it seems that Twitter will establish a compromise solution: a report from Bloomberg states that Twitter “will not count photo names and links against the 140-character limit starting in the coming weeks.”

The change will certainly please many users, if of course it is adopted by Twitter.

So far, following its principles, Twitter has refused to comment on the rumors.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
