On the second day of Adobe's MAX Creativity conference, the company gave us an idea of the new features that will come to its programs and will help photographers and graphic designers of all levels.
Monument Mode, 3D Portraits, Defusing Photobombs, Project Maestro stand out.
But let's take a closer look.
Monument Mode: Have you ever tried to take a photo of the Acropolis on the Sacred Rock? Did it take you a long time to find a moment where the people around you wouldn't get in your frame?
We doubt if you managed to take even one snapshot without any bystanders in your frame.
But Moment Mode will help you since it uses a new algorithm to distinguish moving objects from stationary ones, which it excludes from the frame with a simple click.
3D Portraits: Photoshop already lets you turn your photos into 3D images, but the process involves a series of manual steps. The new 3D Portraits technology under development can recognize facial features, eyes and mouths, and other features. It can quickly and efficiently automate much of the process of converting photos into a printable 3D image.
Defusing Photobombs: You have the perfect shot of your family at a picnic, but unfortunately there's a stranger in your picture.
Today, this is called a photobomb, and it can essentially ruin your perfect image. Photoshop already has tools that allow photographers to remove distracting elements from images. But now, the company is using an AI-powered machine and its accumulated data to eliminate these annoying distractions.
Project Maestro: Do you think animation and Motion Graphics are difficult? It probably is, but Project Maestro uses a simple and natural touch on your tablet screen to create complex motion in your models.
