Twenty years ago, Microsoft released the most successful “modern” operating system. Windows 95 opened a completely new path for the world of computers as we know it today.
Windows 95 is considered Microsoft's first successful attempt to offer the end user a screen full of windows, while bringing changes that made working on a computer with a mouse and keyboard much easier than at any time before.

Development of Windows 95 began in March 1992, and Microsoft officially released the new operating system on August 24, 1995, exactly 20 years ago. The launch party for the new operating system brought people to Microsoft stores at midnight to buy the new operating system.
At the beginning of its development, the new operating system was codenamed Chicago, and Microsoft used exactly the same trick it used for Windows 10.
He made beta versions available to anyone who wanted to try it for $19.95. All those who paid the money received floppy disks for installation, or upgrading from Windows 3.1.
Microsoft's plan was not only to allow users to try out Windows 95 but also to help it improve the operating system.
And for the record, one of the most touted features in Windows 10 is the Start Menu. Windows 95 builds 56 and 58s were the first builds to feature a Start Menu in the form of a single panel that grouped all the main parts of the operating system.
And the operating system's advertisement, with everything new that was being released at the time: Rolling Stones Start me up
