Microsoft has announced a new phone that costs just $20, aimed at emerging markets. The Nokia 105 features a 1.4-inch color display, can store up to 2,000 contacts, has an FM radio, and promises up to 35 days of battery life.

It weighs just 70g, has a replaceable battery and charges via a Micro-USB port. A variant of the device has a dual-SIM slot. Microsoft said it intends to maintain Nokia's entry-level offerings, as the company "has no other project that can reach" such prices, which are easily acceptable in developing countries.
The Nokia 105 and its dual-SIM variant will go on sale in select markets around the world this month.
