Facebook is testing a "buy" button

Testing a new feature – a “buy” button – which is intended to “help businesses increase sales through Facebook in the News Feed and on Pages.”

As noted in a related Facebook announcement, users on desktop or mobile devices can tap the "Buy" button on ads and posts on Pages to purchase a product directly from a business, without leaving the social network.

"We built this feature with privacy in mind, and we've taken steps to make the payment experience secure. No credit or debit card details that people share on Facebook when completing a transaction will be shared with other advertisers, and users will be able to choose whether they want to save payment details for future purchases," it says.
