When we talk about espionage and surveillance, the first name that comes to mind is the American National Security Agency (NSA), and the second name is that of General Keith Alexander, who as you know is the commander of the NSA.
After the endless revelations about the NSA's activities by Edward Snowden , Keith Alexander found himself quite exposed with the spying scandals circulating around the world.
The Obama administration is replacing Keith Alexander with Michael S. Rogers. Rogers (head of cybersecurity for the U.S. Navy) will be the new director of the National Security Agency (NSA) and head of the U.S. military's cyber command.
Neither Rogers nor the White House have made any statements so far, but several anonymous officials have spoken to the media, confirming the rumors. Keith Alexander is expected to resign in mid-March after 9 years of service as NSA Director.
