A pedophile in Chania was "fishing" a minor through Facebook

And yet it is happening right next door.
A case of pedophilia in Chania has been investigated by the police authorities.
A 46-year-old Greek man from Akrotiri came into contact with a 15-year-old boy from Souda, through the social networking site Facebook.
The 46-year-old began to communicate frequently and to express his sexual inclinations towards the 15-year-old bluntly and openly.
The two met at a café in Souda, in order to then supposedly have a sexual encounter.
However, the police were aware and so when the 46-year-old showed up to meet the minor, the police intervened and arrested him.
