This post will present you with a very good reason why you should carefully consider recipients before sending an email.
On Sunday, Bastian Lehmann, CEO and founder of Postmates, sent an email about a customer complaint. The email was addressed to customer service and contained instructions on how to respond to the unhappy customer. Except that along with the department's email address, there was also the customer's address.
Bastian Lehmann was probably not in the best of moods since his response was not polite enough….

Boudreau not only responded to Lehmann's email but also took to Twitter to publicly expose him as you can see in the photo above. You can't imagine what followed.
Lehmann responded to Boudreau on Twitter and in a post on his blog .
“Last night I sent an email to customer service to respond to a customer complaint,” Lehmann wrote on Sunday. “The email described how to resolve the issue and contained a bad joke… The bad joke was then sent to the customer. It was a major error on my part and I deeply regret it.”
Lehmann then explained that he had contacted Boudreau and apologized to her via email.
Boudreau eventually accepted Lehmann's apology with a tweet that read, "I accept @Basti's apology. However, I don't believe he instructed his team to tell me a 'f*ck off' was a joke or a typo."
