Microsoft released a total of 13 security updates on its regular Patch Tuesday, which fix bugs in its operating system as well as in Outlook and Internet Explorer.
Four of these updates have been rated “critical” and fix the following applications: Outlook, Internet Explorer, SharePoint Server and OLE. The company recommends that users and system administrators prioritize installing the first three to ensure their data is not exposed.
At the same time, Microsoft released 9 important updates aimed at correcting flaws found in Office, Excel, Kernel-Mode Driver, Active Directory, Windows Theme File, Access, Office IME (Chinese), Windows SCM, and FrontPage.
