The FBI created the iGuardian service

fbi-logo-sealThe United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has launched iGuardian, a new portal for reporting cyberattacks or any threat encountered in cyberspace. The FBI hopes the system will allow it to improve the way it responds to cyberattacks.

According to Federal News Radio , the iGuardian service is available to 58,000 organizations that are part of the FBI 's InfraGuard network .

The service will be tested over the next few months. Based on the results, the FBI will determine how to expand the program to other companies.

Assistant Director of Criminal, Cyber, Response Services, Mr. Rick McFeely stated at the AFCEA International Global Intelligence Forum that, at some point, the platform will be made available to a much wider audience.
