We had mentioned in a previous post Yahoo 's plans to deactivate all inactive accounts in its database. Well, the time has come.
Starting Monday, July 15, Yahoo will be deactivating all inactive IDs.
If you have an old email from the company and have stopped using it but still wish to keep it, it would be a good idea to log in to your account immediately.
If you do not remember your password due to the long login time, use the password reset form.
Of course, this specific service requires that you have "added" a second email to your account, in order to receive the password reset email.
According to an announcement it made a month ago, Yahoo wants to free up usernames that many people want but can't because they are already "taken" by inactive users.
