With the global decline in PC sales in recent months, it's no wonder that several major PC manufacturers are directly blaming Microsoft for Windows 8, and its failure to boost the PC market.
Two of the largest manufacturers told ZDnet that Microsoft and Windows 8 are primarily responsible for the accelerating decline in sales, with one saying that Windows 8 is "destroying" the PC industry, while the other said that it is "giving millions of customers to Apple."
These accusations come on top of statements made earlier this year by Samsung executives who said that “Windows 8 is no better than Vista.” If sales don’t improve this year (although there’s no indication of that), Microsoft should brace itself for more and harsher criticism from its partners.
