This year's CES kicks off next week, and we're sure to see a lot of Lightning accessories. Almost all of Apple's mobile devices now have Lightning, but the accessory industry hasn't quite caught up yet.
Some people may have managed to make some old gadgets work with new devices with adapters, but it's not the same, and accessories made specifically for these devices are few and far between. The new Lightning connector opens many doors for new and more innovative products.
Batteries
The biggest need so far is battery life. Specifically, cases that hug the iPhone and power it with a few extra hours of battery life. With the new Lightning connector, such cases will either be smaller in size or the same size but offer longer battery life.
Support Bases
The support bases are another "problem" that no one has solved. It seems like they are something easy to create, which is why you can expect to see thousands of them at the upcoming CES. Anyway, the solution that Apple provides is not that "impressive".
Wireless Charging
What about wireless chargers? With the Lightning connector, it's much easier for someone to create a small case that can charge their iPhone wirelessly. We all want it and we think it can now become a reality.
Tiny Accessories
The Lightning connector is not only small, but also very powerful, snapping into place like a dog biting a plastic bone. This means that accessories like TV remotes or ANT+ receivers can become a reality and become part of our everyday lives.
And for those of you wondering about speakers. There are thousands of 30-pin speakers, but the future is Bluetooth. More and more Bluetooth speakers will appear because they do not require a specific connector and will be relevant to all devices, however, those that use Lightning will definitely be smaller and more powerful so that they can charge the iPhone while the performance will be at its peak.
In a few days we will know what the minds of the skilled manufacturers thought up and of course we will tell you about it.
