FlexCase: Microsoft's case that turns into a touchscreen!

[su_heading size=”18″ margin=”30″] FlexCase: Microsoft is currently working feverishly to improve its smartphones in many ways, one of which could be installing better hardware, not necessarily inside the device, but outside of it![/su_heading]

FlexCase - FlexCase:

A project that Microsoft is developing together with the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences could bring us the first flip case that can be used as a secondary touchscreen, providing additional functionality that extends beyond the display .

The case will support a wide range of new functions

The case, called Flexcase, uses piezoelectric circuitry to detect all sorts of gestures like presses, taps, and bends, which are nothing more than quick shortcuts to perform specific tasks. As Gizmodo, such a case creates a wide range of new functions, for example, giving users the ability to easily copy and paste between different apps or the ability to move content between two screens in a natural and flexible way.

It should be noted that the case is still in the development stage and may be put into mass production very soon.

Clearly, this would be a very clever way to enhance interaction with mobile devices, offering users more capabilities and functions beyond the devices' capabilities.

Microsoft describes in detail the case technology, as well as its interaction with applications and users in the following video.
