Google is reportedly testing a new contactless payment system that will not rely on Google Wallet and will primarily use Bluetooth.
The new system is rumored to be codenamed Plaso and will display some characters on the screen which will be sent via Bluetooth to the cashier and then the transaction can be completed. The user will be able to use various sources of money, such as a credit card, or Google Wallet and then the payment will be made through Plaso.
The information says that the entire process will be so automated that there will be no need to even take the phone out of the pocket, let alone sign anything or tap on the screen. However, technical details about the application have not been revealed and more are expected to be revealed in the future.
