Intel and Jaguar Land Rover have announced a collaboration aimed at strengthening research and development of high-tech products in the automotive industry.
With the aim of offering new driving experiences, companies have already begun working on a plan that will connect the car with the mobile devices of our near future, as well as with the cloud.
The expertise gained from the two companies’ research programmes is expected to accelerate the development of new technologies for vehicle interiors. Jaguar Land Rover also unveiled plans to establish a new technology research and development centre in Portland, USA, which will further its research collaboration with Intel laboratories.
