Google is preparing a checkmate move, as it is preparing a version of the Chrome browser that will take advantage of the unique nature of Windows 8 through the metro-mode version, where new elements have been introduced.
Most importantly, Google has big plans for its browser, which it apparently wants to use as a Trojan horse to bring Chrome OS to Windows.
The new version of Chrome is currently available to developers and is far from being perfect. However, it has already incorporated basic features that… smell like Chrome OS.
For example, there is a bar that can be placed on the bottom left or right of the screen, and includes Google applications, such as Chrome, Gmail, Docs, and Youtube.
Another similarity with Chrome OS is the arrangement of tabs using the snap function, while there is also an app launcher in the lower left.
Whether the final product will be released in its current form remains questionable, but it is nevertheless an important sign of Google's intentions in relation to its major competitor.
