There is no end to the online scams that various cunning people concoct, but this time they have crossed the line, as they "fish" most often for married family heads, seducing them online, however the aftermath is not so sweet, as they threaten them with audiovisual material that they have recorded in very inappropriate poses.
According to a report by "FILELEFTHEROS", a ring that exploits foreign beauties has spread its networks throughout Cypriot society, trapping mostly married family heads, preferably with children, so that the blackmail can take effect!
The big scam starts - where else - from Facebook, through which "cunning" foreigners fish for the "open" profiles of men that show whether they are married, who most often respond to the friend requests they send them.
Then the small talk begins and the discussions progress to a more "hot" context... Either during the first or subsequent contact, they convince them to undress in front of them, while they themselves throw off their clothes, having cyber sex in front of their screens!
But the joy of the married men doesn't last long... the sad part comes a little later when the sly informs them that their encounter has been remotely videotaped and that if they don't pay a specific amount, the "sinful" audiovisual material will be sent to their unsuspecting wives!
Apparently, most cowards succumb to blackmail in order to avoid blowing up their family.
The Police are investigating this specific case following complaints received from two complainants who fell victim to the foreign women.
