ThePirate Party is organizing its 4th congress on October 31 and November 1, at the Old Slaughterhouses, Piraeus and Eptalofou in Tavros, Room 7.

We invite all members and friends to attend. You will also be able to watch the conference via mumble ( https://www.pirateparty.gr/wiki/index.php?title=Mumble ) and interventions will be possible through it.
According to the statute, the applicable deadlines are the following:
· 5.5 The Congress elects every two years or extraordinary when required, the Steering Committee of the party. The election of the members of the Steering Committee is carried out by a single ballot, by secret ballot, from a list of party members who have submitted their candidacy at least one (1) week before the Congress. Candidates for the Steering Committee cannot be candidates for the Arbitration Committee and vice versa. Each member of the party is entitled to express preference for one or more candidates by using a cross of preference. The crosses of preference cannot be more than one quarter (1/4) of all candidates, nor can they be more than six (6).

· 5.6 The Congress shall vote and amend the party's statutes by a majority of at least two-thirds (2/3) of those voting. Proposed amendments to be put to a vote must be submitted to the Presidium of the Congress at least twenty (20) days prior to the Congress, so that they can be discussed digitally until the Congress.
Amendments to the articles of association have been pre-approved on the Liquid platform.
· 5.7 The Congress shall vote on additions or changes to the Party's Principles by a majority of at least two-thirds (2/3) of those voting. Proposed amendments to be put to a vote must be submitted to the Congress Presidium at least ten (10) days prior to the Congress, so that they can be discussed digitally by the Congress. Before discussing each issue, the Congress shall decide, by simple majority, whether or not to address the issue and, in the event of a positive decision, proceed to discuss the proposals falling within the specific issue.
For the authorities, the conference presidium asks for the tolerance of the members due to the problem with finding a room and requests that proposals be submitted for voting up to 7 days before the conference.
