Rockstar confirms no more GTA Online updates for PS3 & Xbox 360 – New updates will arrive on September 15th on other platforms
It seemed like a 'ride' for GTA Online players who have the game on either PS3 or Xbox 360, but it seems that this is somewhere around the end of the road for them.
A Rockstar developer recently revealed that a large series of updates for GTA Online will begin rolling out across various gaming platforms on September 15th
However, the PS3 and Xbox 360 will not be among the platforms that will get these new updates. In fact, Rockstar is not planning to update the game for these consoles anymore.
On the other hand, the new updates for GTA Online coming to the rest of the gaming platforms (PC, PS4 and Xbox One) contain several new features and improvements.
Also, the Rockstar Editor will be implemented in the versions of the game starting next week, since the PC game already has it.
Finally, Cross the Line and Hunting Pack new Adversary Modes will be added.
Unfortunately, these changes won't be coming to PS3 and Xbox 360, so those who still want to take advantage of the many updates Rockstar has planned for GTA Online may want to upgrade to a next-gen console.
