Clarity: The makers of SwiftKey the popular Androidwith a wealth of features that improve the typing experience on Android, have just released Clarity , a beta keyboard for Android OS.
Clarity available for all devices running Android 4.4 and using English (US) as the language, this keyboard introduces a different type of auto-correction to the devices. The main idea of this new keyboard is that you continue to type while the app corrects for you without you having to worry about it.
This is done by checking and correcting the last words, not just the last one you type.
Before you begin, you need to activate Clarity Keyboard on your Android device. The app guides you through the entire process so that you don't encounter any problems during the process.
This new keyboard provides features such as:
- Auto-correction of words you have just typed.
- Ability to undo this auto-correction by simply pressing backspace.
- Quick transition from shift to capital letters.
- Quickly switch via the symbols key to write with symbols.
The application launches a page to test the keyboard's functionality and get used to it. Since it is the default keyboard on Android after installation, the functionality is available in the majority of applications running on your device.
The auto-correct undo feature is really useful and solves most of the "corrector made a mistake again" problems that tend to replace the correct words with something else and can lead to... awkward situations or misunderstandings. According to the extension's developers, Clarity learns slang, nicknames, and phrases as you use it.
Finally, it offers more control over the device's autocorrect. It may not be faster than other apps, but it's less intrusive and gives you the option to undo incorrect autocorrections.
