How-Old.net: How old are you? If you want to know, ask Microsoft, but don't be disappointed by the result. Microsoft is known to make mistakes...
Microsoft today announced a new website called How-Old.net. The website tries to guess your age.
It may be something we haven't seen before, a company innovation, but it's also a fun way to waste your time trying to trick a computer. Something that can be done very easily..
How does it work? Simply upload a photo of yourself, a friend, or perhaps a celebrity you like, and the website will use a facial recognition algorithm and other data to guess the age and gender of the person pictured.
Sometimes the website is correct in its assumption, but most of the time it errs by overly flattering or even ridiculously exaggerating the user's age.
